At Fabulous Closet, we take pride in delivering elegant, high-quality dresses that celebrate confidence and individuality. Due to the exclusive and curated nature of our pieces, we maintain a structured and fair refund and exchange policy.
Please read carefully before making a purchase.
1. General Policy
All sales are considered final once an item has been delivered and received in good condition.
However, we are happy to offer size exchanges under the conditions outlined below.
We do not offer refunds for:
- Change of mind
- Event cancellation
- Incorrect color selection
- Delays caused by incorrect address details provided by the customer
We strongly encourage customers to:
- Carefully review the size guide
- Confirm measurements before purchase
- Double-check delivery details before completing checkout
2. Size Exchange Policy
If you selected the wrong size, we are happy to offer an exchange.
Conditions for Size Exchange:
- Request must be made within 3 days of delivery
- Item must be unworn, unused, and unwashed
- All original tags must remain attached
- Item must be returned in original packaging
- No signs of perfume, makeup, stains, or damage
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the error was made by Fabulous Closet.
Once the returned item is received and inspected, the replacement size will be shipped (subject to availability).
3. When Refund or Replacement Is Eligible
A refund or replacement may be approved under the following circumstances:
A. Item Lost in Transit
All orders are shipped exclusively via Australia Post.
If Australia Post officially confirms a parcel as lost in transit:
- A replacement will be issued (subject to availability), OR
- A full refund will be processed.
An investigation with Australia Post must be completed before resolution.
B. Item Arrives Damaged or Incorrect
If your order arrives:
- Torn
- Severely stained
- Structurally damaged
- Incorrect item sent
You must notify us within 24 hours of delivery and provide:
- Clear photos of the item
- Photos of packaging
- Order details
If approved, we will:
- Cover return shipping costs
- Send a replacement, OR
- Issue a full refund if replacement is unavailable
4. Non-Eligible Refund or Exchange Cases
Refunds or exchanges will NOT be granted if:
- The item has been worn
- Tags have been removed
- The item shows signs of use
- The issue is reported after 3 days of delivery
- Damage occurred after the customer received the item
- Delivery delays caused by Australia Post
Once an order is marked as delivered by Australia Post and received in good condition, the sale is considered complete.
5. Processing Time
If a refund is approved:
- Refunds are processed within 3–7 business days
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
If an exchange is approved:
- Replacement will be dispatched once the returned item has been received and verified
